Tina has been employed at Cornell Cooperative Extension for 28 years as a nutrition educator. During these years she has worked with thousands of Tompkins County residents helping them improve their health by teaching them how to prepare foods for themselves that are nutritious, inexpensive and tasty too! She has one child who was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when he was nine years old and so has had to live preparing food and helping her son manage his diabetes. She also is credentialed in Family Development and has been a Certified Lactation Counselor for 12 years. Lastly, she is a part-time student at Empire State College working toward a degree in Public Health.
