Sara Stamp

Nutritionist

Sara is a Registered Dietitian and has lived in the Finger Lakes Region her entire life. She has extensive experience working with youth of all ages. Her Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Corning Community College provided first-hand experience working in a classroom. Additionally, she was part of the AmeriCorps: Kid’s First Initiative where she served as the Assistant Director of Youth Services for the American Red Cross. While earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Mansfield University in Mansfield, Pennsylvania she worked for several years as the Head Teacher of several daycare classrooms in Horseheads, New York. Upon graduation, Sara completed her Dietetic Internship through Messiah College in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania with an emphasis in food insecurity. Furthermore, Sara is a Type 1 Diabetic since age eleven and has learned through life experience the importance of eating balanced meals to maintain blood glucose control. Sara enjoys outdoor activities like camping, hiking, swimming, boating, and taking her dog for walks.
