Laura Held


Laura Held is a Nutrition Educator for Finger Lakes Eat Smart NY at Foodlink in Rochester. She holds an MS Nutrition from Tufts University's Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy, where she studied in the program of Agriculture, Food, and Environment, and specialized in garden-based education and non-profit management. She has also worked in a variety of food-related jobs, including organic farming fellow, buyer and manager of a local foods café and market, and industrial kitchen and dining hall supervisor at a retreat center. Laura is passionate about food justice and fostering a healthier food system for all, including producers, consumers, animals, farm workers, and the future inhabitants of our planet.
