School snacks just got healthier!
This info graphic shows how school snack choices have fewer "empty" calories than in the past.
Students learned about the Go, Slow, Whoa foods within each food group. Students had to create a WHOA MyPlate meal with only WHOA foods. Then they had to create a GO MyPlate meal with only GO foods. The students found that it was easier to create a WHOA meal because these foods were more convenient and easily accessible.
