Portion Distortion Quiz
You will be surprised by how today's portions compare to the portions available 20 years ago! You'll also learn about the amount of physical activity required to burn off the extra calories provided by these larger portions.
Students learned about the benefits of eating whole grain foods and how they keep us healthy! They also learned about the difference between natural sugar and processed sugar. All of the students made their own Fruit Pizza with a mini whole wheat pita, raspberries, blackberries, kiwi, straw fruit, and lite cream cheese. One student named Joseph (seen in the picture) stated “I love making fruit pizza! I can’t wait to make it at home and I’m going to add apple and bananas slices to it!”
