National Nutrition Month Cookbook from Foodlink
This collection of healthy recipes from Foodlink will make it easy to Savor the Flavor of Healthy Eating during National Nutrition Month!
Kids in the afterschool program at Bradford Central School participated in a series of lessons, some that that featured tastings of different “Parts Of The Plant” and other raw vegetables. Some caregivers report children are choosing to eat more vegetables now, even trying ones they've never eaten previously. The kids also planted an ESNY raised garden bed, and are now looking forward to seeing their veggies grow. Vegetables they planted include onions, cilantro, tomatoes, green beans and cucumbers.
