About 30 kids spent their Saturday morning at Project LEAP, a project through NEAD’s Freedom School in Rochester. They learned about Go, Slow, and Whoa foods and then watched magic as a “Go” form of a classic “Whoa” food (ice cream) was created! We whipped up a batch of “One Ingredient Banana Ice Cream” using frozen bananas (and a bit of low-fat milk for creaminess). One kid suggested adding peanut butter or cocoa powder to “make your own healthy ice cream flavors”!
