Focus on Fruits (English)
This handout describes the many nutritional benefits of fruit.
MyPlate for My Family workshop participants started eating foods that they reported that they would never eat, such as butternut squash in the Creamy Macaroni and Cheese recipe the group prepared. I heard, “I can’t tell that the squash is even in there!" and “I really like this, I think it’s better than any macaroni and cheese I’ve ever eaten."
