Eating too much sodium can lead to high blood pressure (hypertension). High blood pressure can raise your risk of having a heart attack or stroke. Try these tips to reduce sodium in your diet.
This April, parents and grandparents (and one baby) gathered each week at the Corning Community Food Pantry to learn how to prepare healthy recipes together and use food pantry ingredients to save money and stretch their food dollars. Mary shared, “I learned healthier ways to prepare meals. I tried several of the recipes at home, including roasted veggies and the fruited cabbage salad.”
