Here are some great ways to offer vegetables at meals and snacks in child care settings such as schools and Head Start.
We had a grocery store scavenger hunt at the Painted Post Walmart. Questions included naming fruits and vegetables for specific colors, reading a nutrition facts label to find a cereal with the least amount of sugar, finding three lean proteins with the least amount of fat and comparing two whole grain bread items.
