Make Better Beverage Choices
What you drink is as important as what you eat. Many beverages contain added sugars and offer little or no nutrients, while others may provide nutrients but too much fat and too many calories.
30 individuals from New Life Fellowship joined me on a Cooking Matters at the Store grocery store tour. The group had great questions about purchasing healthy food on a limited budget. One woman shared how she lost 90 pounds within the last year and planned to keep it off by utilizing some of the shopping skills she learned during the store tour.
