Be an Active Family
Being active as a family can benefit everyone. Adults need 2½ hours a week of physical activity, and children need 60 minutes a day. Check out these tips to add more activity to your family’s busy schedule.
For Heart Health Month, we discussed ways to be heart healthy with nutrition and physical activity. Some responses included 14,000 steps a day, drinking more water, exercise and eat more vegetables, taking winter hikes, and drinking red wine. Participants also received a packet of information for American Health month that include nutrition information and healthy recipes.
