Add More Vegetables to Your Day (Spanish)
¡Comer más vegetales es fácil!
Students learned about the benefits of eating whole grain foods and how they keep us healthy! They also learned about the difference between natural sugar and processed sugar. All of the students made their own Fruit Pizza with a mini whole wheat pita, raspberries, blackberries, kiwi, straw fruit, and lite cream cheese. One student named Joseph (seen in the picture) stated “I love making fruit pizza! I can’t wait to make it at home and I’m going to add apple and bananas slices to it!”
